YEAH! I finally made it to Thing #23. I really enjoyed this Classroom 2.0 experience, I can't wait to use some of these resources in my classroom. I had NO idea there were so many neat resources out on the internet. This class forced me to delve into sites I would have never even looked at on my own. My favorites were Flickr, image generator, Del.icio.us, library thing, and podcasts.

Overall, Classroom 2.0 was an AWESOME experience!!!!!

I am more familiar with Audio books than e-books. Audio books are a great motivational tool to get our students interested in reading or a specific series.

I found a lot of interesting educational podcasts while searching the internet. I have an account with ITUNES, so I spent sometime viewing the video podcasts and listening to the audio podcasts.

I spent some time on YouTube, but was not impressed with the educational videos. However, I did register for TeacherTube and found some neat videos.

I created my account with Library Thing and added some math books to my library. This is a great tool to share with others and to keep up with your inventory of books.

I signed up for Zoho Writer and can see where this could be a VERY useful tool. There are times when I work on documents at home, then email it to my school account, revise, and then resave it on my P-drive. Zoho Writer could really save time and it is user-friendly. Yeah!

I enjoyed seeing how others utilize wikis. I found a neat math wiki called smart board resources which offers some helpful websites I can use in my fourth grade classroom.

I think wikis are really neat, but I don't know how comfortable I am using them in my classroom. Wikis would be a great tool for the secondary schools. I did find some beneficial resources in the teacherlibrarian wiki.

I watched the video "A Fair(y) Use Tale" and learned the history of copyright. There was some information I did not know about copyright for example, the fixed amount of time. Copyright is a topic that everyone should take more seriously.

Library 2.0 Where will the next generation Web take libraries was a very interesting article. I hope that our librarians and patrons accept the challenge that libraries are ever changing entities.

I explored Technorati and took the tour, but it was a little overwhelming. I did view some blogs about TAKS and math learning games.

I created an account with Del.icio.us and tagged some of my favorite math sites. This is a great way to manage all of my favorites in one place. This will be a very helpful tool.

I explored Rollyo and created an account. This is another great resource when researching for a certain topic.

What a great resource! I checked out several sites and saved a few as favorites (peertrainer, picnik, backpack). I noticed some of the sites I use on a regular basis were on the list. The travel IQ was alot of fun- this would be a great resource to use in the classroom.

This is neat! Image Chef was easy and user friendly. I plan to use this in my classroom, especially with my presentation station. I tried the comic strip generator, but could not upload my cartoon.

I really like how I can group information of interest using RSS and newsreaders. This is a great tool for research assignments and keeping up with current events.

I learned about RSS feed readers, Bloglines, and Google Reader today and set up an account with several newsfeeds.

I spent a lot of time playing with Flikr and had to make myself move on to the next assignment. Technology is very interesting and time consuming.

Flickr was alot of fun! I love taking pictures and this will be a neat way to share my favorite pictures with family and friends.
